Pre-launch draft. This page describes how Tendvine is built today and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It is not yet a binding document. Before Tendvine accepts real communities, this must be reviewed and replaced by counsel.

The short version

Tendvine gives your community a place to gather. You keep ownership of what you put here. Treat other people decently. Pay for the plan you use.

Your account

One person, one account. You are responsible for what happens under it, so keep your sign-in link and your two-factor codes to yourself. Tell us at support@tendvine.io if you think someone else has got in.

Your community's content

What your community creates stays your community's. You grant Tendvine only the permission needed to store it, show it to the members you have allowed, and back it up. We do not use it to train anything or sell it to anyone.

What is not allowed

Do not use Tendvine to harm people: no harassment, no material that sexualises children, no incitement to violence, no illegal content, and no attempts to break into other people's communities. Members can report content in eight categories, and moderators act on a real queue.

Paying

Members join free; the organisation pays. Every plan starts with 30 fully-featured days, and after that you choose a plan — there is no free tier. Prices and what each plan includes are on the pricing page.

Ending it

You can leave whenever you like, and take a full export with you. We may suspend an account that breaks these rules; where we can, we will tell you why and give you a way to respond.

Changes

If these terms change materially, we will tell communities before the change takes effect rather than after.
