Privacy choices

You decide what Tendvine may do beyond running the product. This page explains each choice and how to change it.

What needs no permission

Signing in, staying signed in, and remembering your theme and language. Without the first two there is no product; the last two are stored only once you pick one. None of it is tracking, and none of it is optional in a meaningful sense — so we do not pretend to ask.

What we do ask about

Error reporting. When something breaks, Tendvine can send the crash details to our monitoring service so we can fix it. That report includes your IP address, which makes it personal data, which is why it is a genuine choice.

Say no and nothing about the product changes. We simply find out about the bug more slowly.

Changing your mind

The banner appears once, and your answer is remembered for a year. To change it, use the Privacy choices link in the footer of any page — it reopens the banner with your current answer, and refusing is exactly as easy as accepting.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Tendvine treats it as a refusal and does not ask. You do not need to do anything else.

What Tendvine does not have

No advertising, no profiling, no cross-site tracking, no analytics. If that ever changes, this page changes first and the banner will ask about it — a banner whose buttons change nothing is worse than no banner at all.
